Aug. 10

9:39 am: Semi parked in 200 block N. Defiance St., partially blocking roadway, gone when officer arrived.

12:08 pm: Domestic dispute, 500 block South St.

1:35 pm: Disabled vehicle, 1400 block S. Defiance St., pushed off roadway, subject given ride.

7:02 pm: Civil problem, child custody, 200 block La Choy Dr.

9 pm: Barking dog, 100 block Monumental, owner warned.

7:37 pm: Possible possession of drug paraphernalia, 400 block Brussel St.

Aug. 11

2:55 pm: Suspicious vehicle, 1400 block S. Defiance St., locksmith replacing door locks.

5 pm: Report of possible counterfeit $20 bill, Circle K, all okay, bill was old.

Aug. 12

6:59 am: Suspicious vehicle, 200 block Schlatter St., door open, all okay.

6:04 pm: Parking citation, 100 block N. Defiance St., parking the wrong way.

Aug. 13

12:02 pm: A mini-pickup truck, driven by Douglas B. Gerig, 45, rural Archbold, was stopped in traffic in the northbound lane of S. Defiance St., about 206 feet south of the West Barre Rd.-Lafayette St. intersection. A car, driven by Orval J. Beck, 89, Archbold, was traveling north behind the pickup truck. They collided. Beck was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. No injuries.

1:07 pm: 911 hang-up call, traced to East Gardens, checked area, unable to locate.

1:28 pm: A dump truck, driven by Dale H. Heller, 28, Wauseon, owned by Borderline Express, LLC, rural Fayette, was traveling north on South Defiance Street, about 300 feet south of E. Lugbill Rd., when a rock either fell from the dump box or was thrown from the vehicle’s tires, and struck a car driven by Stacy L. Lichtenwald, 34, rural Archbold. No injuries.

7 pm: Domestic violence, 815 West St., Apt. 7.

Aug. 14

10:45 am: Civil problem, kept the peace, 400 block Brussel St.

10:13 pm: Burglary report, Fox Chase.

Aug. 15

2:45 am: Assisted Fulton County Sheriff Department with vehicle-train mishap Co. Rd. 24 Norfolk Southern crossing.

5:15 pm: Suspicious car report. About 4:45 pm., three young men in a cream-colored vehicle asked juvenile female walking near Park St. if she needed a ride; she declined and kept walking.

6:42 pm: Civil problem, Fox Chase, kept peace while subject picked up items.

9:27 pm: Civil process papers served, East Gardens.

8:30 pm: Civil problem, 400 block Brussel St., kept peace while subject moved out.

Aug. 16

1:31 am: Report of prowlers, Fox Chase.

11:17 am: Theft, Westfield Medical Center.

3:13 pm: 911 call, 2200 S. Defiance St., unfounded.

11:37 pm: Report of prowlers, 700 block N. Defiance St., gone when officers arrived.

Aug. 17

12:41 am: Suspicious persons, 500 block Sauder St., sent them on their way.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers gave a verbal warning for driving without headlights when required.
