May 4

9:27 am: Loose dog, 600 block S. Lincoln St., spoke to owner, advised to keep better track of dog.

2:20 pm: Subject found note in bathroom asking for help, Friendship Food Mart.

3 pm: Juvenile does not want to go home from Archbold Middle School with parents, spoke to juvenile and parents; juvenile went home with parents.

5:57 pm: Report of person carrying a gun, 100 block S. Defiance St, subject has concealed carry permit.

9:03 pm: Loud music, 400 block S. Defiance St., young adults holding memorial for youth killed in accident, event terminated when offi- cer arrived.

10:09 pm: Drunk driver, Friendship Food Mart, gone when officer arrived.

11:25 pm: Noise, East Gardens, no noise when offi cer arrived.

May 5

8:44 pm: Barking dog, 200 block Park St., dog taken inside before officer arrived.

9 am: Golf cart inspection, 700 block North St.

May 6

12:15 am: Domestic dispute, 400 block S. Defiance St.

7:29 pm: Custody issue, 200 block Brussel St., civil matter.

8:30 pm: Disabled vehicle pushed off roadway, 200 block S. Defiance St.

8:35 pm: Neighborhood trouble, complaint of juvenile being harassed by second juvenile, 200 block E. Mechanic St., spoke with parties involved.

10:28 pm: Possible breaking and entering to garage in 200 block E. Holland Street; later determined kids were responsible; unfounded.

May 7

12:54 pm: A car, driven by Beth A. Meekison, Napoleon, was traveling north on S. Defiance St., and was slowing for stopped traffic. A second car, driven by Joshua L. Rockey, 25, Edon, was traveling behind the Meekison vehicle. They collided. Rockey was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead; no injuries.

1:24 pm: 911 hang-up, East Gardens, unable to locate caller, all okay.

3:55 pm: Peace keep, 700 block Stryker St.

6:23 pm: Assist Archbold Rescue, Archbold reservoirs.

May 8

11:35 am: Disabled vehicle, N. Defiance St. at E. Lutz Rd., pushed vehicle to alley west of intersection, arrangements made to tow vehicle.

11:59 am: Funeral escort, S. Defiance & Park streets.

5:09 pm: A car, owned by Carlos Reyes, Jr., Archbold, was parked in front of Chad’s Hair Artistry & Design, 808 Stryker St. A car, driven by Christian Leonell Baez-Santos, Archbold, was backing out of a space in the parking lot and collided with the parked auto.

May 9

4:28 pm: Child in Woodland Park without adult supervision, contacted mother, who picked up child.

6:27 pm: Suspicious vehicle parked in center turn lane, 1500 block S. Defiance St., vehicle gone when officer arrived.

May 10

3:15 pm: Citation issued to Karen James, 48, Wauseon, for failure to stop for school bus with its lights flashing, 300 block W. Holland St.

4:28 pm: Suspicious person jumping into roadway near underpass, Clyde’s Way, was jogger stretching, advised not to do so in roadway.

5:36 pm: Subject pumped gasoline, then drove off without paying, Archbold Main Stop, subject returned and paid for fuel.

Note: During the preceding week, officers issued verbal warnings for placing trash at the curb more than 36 hours before pickup, driving without lights, driving with no taillights, fireworks, and speeding.
