2 pm: Stolen grill, East Gardens.

April 21

1:51 am: Fight, NuArch Lanes.

9:51 pm: 911 hang-up, 200 block Farmington Rd., all okay.

April 22

2:30 pm: Assist rescue, Fox Chase.

5:25 pm: Questions about damage to door at Fox Chase rescue call.

6:16 pm: Assault, 400 block S. Defiance St.

April 23

11:10 am: Loose dog, 200 block S. Defiance St., advised owner.

1:28 pm: Neighbor dispute, 300 block Stamm St.

April 24

5:52 pm: Juveniles playing in street in front of residence, Fox Chase, advised adult to watch children.

April 25

11:34 am: Funeral escort, Church St. at N. Defiance St.

5:30 pm: A sport-utility vehicle, driven by Andrew J. Nofziger, 20, rural Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defiance St. A pickup, driven by Michael D. Short, 62, rural Archbold, was turning left from the Pamida driveway. They collided. Short was cited for failure to yield right-of-way. No injuries.

April 26

7:49 am: 911 hang-up, Bankey Ave., child playing with phone.

2:56 pm: 911 hang-up, 500 block Union St., male subject needed rescue, Archbold Rescue dispatched.

3:55 pm: Theft from vehicle, 801 W. Barre Rd.

7:17 pm: Juvenile shoplifter stopped, $9.99 mobile phone taken, officials declined to prosecute.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for parking the wrong way on a street, driving with one headlight out, stopping too close to a school bus, speeding, failure to drive in marked lanes, disobeying a stop sign.
