9:32 am: Theft of license plates, S. Defiance St.

10:13 am: Found license plate, 100 block N. Defiance St.

10:15 am: Found license plates, Circle K.

2:20 pm: Dog running at large, 100 block Jane Ct., unable to locate.

11:59 pm: Suspicious person in vehicle, 100 block Woodland Dr.

March 24

5:15 pm: Found dog, Monterey Ct., released to owner.

11:43 pm: Found cell phone, Circle K.

March 25

2:36 am: Suspicious person, Ruihley Park, warned subject.

1 pm: Found bicycle, Circle K.

6:40 pm: Juveniles fighting, East Gardens, advised 11- and 12-year-olds to get along.

March 26

11:09 am: Loose dog, St. Bernard, 300 block Stryker St., contact made with owner, dog put in house.

3:11 pm: Report of fraudulent credit card charges, 212 Rosewood.

5:32 pm: A minivan, driven by Lois Rufenacht, 79, Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defiance St. A sport-utility vehicle, driven by Edward L. Leichty, 39, Archbold, was traveling north behind the minivan. They collided. Leichty was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. No injuries.

March 27

1:42 pm: Funeral escort, N. Defiance St. at Stryker St.

2:30 pm: Prisoner transport to Western District Court.

2:50 pm: Dog bite report, Fox Chase.

4:14 pm: Burglary, 102 La Choy Dr.

4:53 pm: Peace keep, 400 block S. Defiance St.

6:27 pm: Welfare check, Archbold Villas, all okay.

10:35 pm: Citation, wrongway parking, 100 block E. Beech St.

March 28

March 29

6:30 am: Direct traffic at Defiance St. Norfolk Southern railroad crossing.

8:37 am: Loose dog, 500 block S. Lincoln St., advised owner.

1:46 pm: Dog left in vehicle for over an hour with windows up, 400 block Stamm St., dog okay, owner cracked windows.

4:30 pm: A sport-utility, driven by Robert Young, 75, Butler, Ind., with passenger Teresa Young 73, same address, was traveling north on S. Defiance St., and was stopped in traffic 27 feet south of E. Mechanic St. A car, driven by Kimberly Livingston, 28, Fayette, with passenger Jenna Martin 8, Archbold, was traveling behind the sport utility. They collided. Livingston issued citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. Martin was transported to the Fulton County Health Center, then transferred to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she was treated and released.

5:45 pm: Dog loose, Willow Way, notified owner.

9:56 pm: Suspicious person, 100 block Park St., incident reported 30 minutes after occurrence, unable to locate.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers issued verbal warning for disobeying a stop sign, speeding, driving without taillights, and a parking violation.
