Nov. 18

3:37 pm: Traffic stop, vehicles blocking intersection, N. Defi- ance St. at Stryker St., advised drivers to move.

Nov. 19

3:33 am: Attempted burglary, Toledo Edison substation.

2:30 pm: A mini-pickup truck, owned by Monte E. Howell, rural Bryan, and parked alongside a building at East Gardens, was struck by an unknown vehicle.

3:26 pm: Citation issued to Melissa E. Valentine, 27, rural Archbold, for disobeying a traffic signal, S. Defiance St. at E. Lugbill Rd.

10:40 pm: An unknown vehicle traveling north on S. Defiance St. struck a deer. The vehicle left the scene without stopping, while the deer continued west into the southbound lane, where it collided with a car driven by Ethan Wallace King, 24, Defiance, traveling south. The collision occurred three-tenths (.3) of a mile north of Meyers Road.

Nov. 21

12:32 pm: A pickup truck, driven by Melvon T. Winchester, 49, rural Archbold, was traveling south on S. Defiance St., stopped in traffic. Stopped behind the Winchester pickup was a minivan, driven by Manuel Tijerina, 42, rural Archbold. A truck, driven by Donald F. Bischoff, 53, rural Napoleon, which was also southbound behind the other two vehicles, collided with the Tijerina van, which collided with the Winchester pickup. Bischoff was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

5:48 pm: Found bicycle, 600 block Stryker St., taken to police garage, owner reclaimed bike.

6:45 pm: Managers at the Friendship Food Mart reported someone pumped gasoline and drove away without paying.

Nov. 22

4:32 pm: 911 hang-up, 100 block Burke St., subject misdialed phone.

11:29 pm: Loud music complaint, 400 block S. Defiance St., subject advised to turn music down.

Nov. 23

5:40 pm: A mini-pickup truck, driven by Anthony L. Stever, 55, Bryan, and owned by the village of Archbold, was parked in the parking lot at Lugbill Supply. A sport utility vehicle, driven by Karlin J. Wyse, 61, Archbold, and owned by Lugbill Brothers, Inc., Archbold, was backing from a parking space and collided with the pickup.

Nov. 24

2:08 am: Loud music complaint, 200 block S. Defiance St., advised subject to keep it down.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold Police officers gave verbal warnings for no turn signal, failure to drive in marked lanes, traffic signal, no validation sticker, left of center, speeding, improper lane, and no visible registration.
