Sept. 12

7:15 am: Broken light pole, Fox Chase Manufactured Housing Community.

10:44 pm: Noise in Woodland Park, 17-year-old male in park, took subject home.

Sept. 13

4 pm: School bus violation, Sauder St. at West Barre Rd., could not locate offender.

6:19 pm: Unruly juvenile, East Gardens; male juvenile refused to return home; placed under house arrest.

Sept. 14

7:48 am: A school bus was traveling west on Stryker St., while a car, driven by Mark E. Miller, 49, Archbold, was traveling east on Stryker St. The Miller vehicle stopped for a school bus at a point about 429 feet east of Eicher St. A second car, driven by Jacob D. Dominique, 27, Archbold, was also traveling east on Stryker St., behind the Miller auto. They collided. Dominique was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

8:03 am: A car, driven by Nicole Narath, 47, Archbold, with passenger Samuel Narath, 10, same address, was traveling west on Lafayette St. while a sport utility vehicle driven by Caitlin R. Pelmear, 22, Archbold, with passenger Alexa Martinez, 6, same address, was traveling north on S. Pleasant St. and was stopped at the stop sign at the Lafayette St. intersection. The Pelmear auto attempted to make a left turn, and they collided. Pelmear was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Sept. 15

9:34 am: Theft, Rich Ford Lincoln Mercury.

12:30 pm: Loose dog, 300 block Buckeye St., placed in kennel.

4:30 pm: Citation to Jordan E. Cowell, 17, rural Archbold, for passing a stopped school bus with its lights flashing, E. Holland St. at Linda Ct.

9:05 pm: A car, driven by Carlos Reyes III, 18, Archbold, with passenger Jacob Reyes, 15, same address, was traveling in the middle school parking lot and was stopped in traffic. A car, driven by Daniel J. Davis, 17, Archbold, with passenger Aimeth Rosillo, 15, Archbold, was backing from the west to the northeast in the parking lot. They collided.

Sept. 16

6:11 am: A pickup truck, driven by Javier Lerma, 48, Wauseon, was traveling south on N. Clyde’s Way, and was stopped at the E. Lutz Rd. intersection. When the signal changed, Lerma proceeded south. At the same time a car, driven by Rebecca F. Serres, 32, rural Wauseon, was traveling east on E. Lutz Rd. Serres attempted to stop for the red traffic signal, but slid on the wet pavement and collided with Lerma’s pickup. Archbold Rescue transported Serres to the Fulton County Health Center where she was treated and released. She was cited for disobeying a traffic signal.

7:52 am: Removed door from roadway, 300 block N. Clyde’s Way; advised Fulton County Sheriff Department.

10:51 am: Domestic, 400 block High St.

12:18 pm: Found orange ball in roadway, 400 block E. Lutz Rd.

2:58 pm: Parking violation, vehicle with expired license plates parked on roadway, 100 block Monumental St., citation issued.

4:58 pm: Citation to Kalev Purje, 58, Archbold, for passing a stopped school bus with its lights flashing, 200 block Linda Ct.

6:01 pm: Vehicle parked facing wrong direction, 200 block Farmington Rd, written warning issued.

6:21 pm: Telephone complaint, wants subject to stop calling; 208 S. Defiance St., spoke to subject.

6:47 pm: Trucker parked overnight where not allowed, 900 block Stryker St., moved to Yoder & Frey lot.

9:45 pm: Domestic violence, 200 block E. Williams St.

Sept. 17

3:37 am: Arguing in front of 400 building, East Gardens, no one around when officer arrived.

7:55 am: Small Chihuahua running at large, Lafayette and Pleasant Sts., unable to locate.

4:18 pm: Juveniles screaming, 200 block Park St., talked to subjects, advised to be mindful of neighbors.

10:54 pm: Juveniles running around, 200 block South St., advised to go home before curfew.

Sept. 18

11:30 am: Theft of purse, Nu-Arch Lanes.

3 pm: Disabled vehicle, Sauder Village, contacted wrecker.

8:35 pm: Breaking and entering, Shelly Materials, 305 W. Mechanic St.

During the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers gave verbal warnings for driving left of center, speeding, no taillights, driving with one license plate, disobeying a stop sign, and driving while playing loud music.
