Sept. 5

12:04 pm, Loose dog, Co. Rd. 22 at St. Rt. 2, returned to owner.

Sept. 6

No reports.

Sept. 7

12:31 am: Subject walking in yard, 200 block S. Defi- ance St., tripped motion-sensor light, gone when officers arrived.

11:42 pm: Verbal warning, driving with one headlight out, 100 block S. Defiance St., subject hit deer outside village.

Sept. 8

1:28 am: Noise, East Gardens, subjects gone when offi cers arrived.

7:38 pm: Fight, East Gardens.

Sept. 9

9:10 am: Disabled vehicle, drove subject to gas station.

3:05 pm: No plate on moped.

4:24 pm: Vandalism, 109 E. Mechanic St.

8:28 pm: Assisted truck driver backing onto the 1100 block of S. Defiance Street, truck couldn’t negotiate the turn into McDonald’s.

Sept. 10

1:41 pm: A pickup truck driven by Tony R. Trejo, 48, Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defiance St. while a sport-utility driven by Chris E. Martin, was following the Trejo pickup. Trejo attempted to turn into the Huntington Bank branch. They collided. No injuries.

3:22 pm: Traffic stop, verbal warning for loud music.

Sept. 11

2:09 am: Loud music, Colony Meadows, unfounded.

5:52 am: Possible breaking and entering, East Gardens.

8:15 am: A car owned by Richard Aschemeier, rural Napoleon, was parked illegally in an Archbold High School parking lot. A second car driven by Elena M. Stamm, 17, rural Wauseon, was attempting to park in an adjacent space. They collided.

4:06 pm: Subject reported purse stolen from vehicle, Nu-Arch Lanes; subject later found purse at home.

7:19 pm: Barking dog, 200 block La Choy Dr., upon arrival neighbor with dog trying to calm it, spoke with dog owner.

During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for driving with one headlight out, no taillights, failure to drive in marked lanes, illegally-dark window tinting, disobeying a traffic signal, no front plate, speeding, and expired registration.
