Aug. 22

6:54 pm: Bat in home, 500 block Jackson St., assisted homeowner.

9:30 pm: Unwanted person, Holland Court apartments, advised subject to stay away.

Aug. 23

2:20 pm: A minivan, owned by Brad Dominique, Archbold, was parked in a village lot on W. Williams St., near the Scout Cabin. An unknown vehicle struck the minivan.

4:25 pm: Citation to Kui Kelly Wan, 44, Archbold, for disobeying stop sign, E. Holland St. at Vine St.

6:38 pm: Citation to Alyssa Joy Borton, 18, rural Napoleon, for speeding, plus three citations for failure to stop for stop signs, 600 block Stryker St.

Aug. 24

9:17 am: Drive-off, Friendship Food Mart, returned and paid.

4:41 pm: Dog defecating in neighbor’s yard, advised dog owner.

7:50 pm: Unruly juvenile, Sawmill Court, advised youth of consequences of violence.

10 pm: Unwanted person, 100 block Schlatter St., ad vised to stay away.

Aug. 25

10:15 am: Vehicle driving through yard, 100 block S. Defiance St., driver had permission.

1:55 pm: Internet scam, 210 Taylor Pkwy.

5:45 pm: Harassment, 1105 Lindau St.

Aug. 26

12:02 pm: Parking violation, 300 block E. Holland St., moved vehicle.

5:25 pm: Suspicious phone call, 100 block S. Defiance St.

4:50 pm: Juvenile on ground, 300 block West St., playing football and took a shot to the jaw, transported to residence.

9:35 pm: Person in bushes outside 400 building, East Gardens, gone when officer arrived.

Aug. 27

9:32 pm: A sport-utility vehicle, driven by Vankham Vorasane, 48, Archbold, was traveling west in 600 block of Lafayette St., while a car, driven by Aaron M. Rosario, 21, Archbold, was traveling south in the high school parking lot. Eastbound traffi c stopped to allow Rosario vehicle to leave the parking lot. The Rosario vehicle drove into the roadway, and the two collided. Rosario was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way. Both were taken to Archbold Hospital, where they were treated and released.

Aug. 28

5:58 am: Arguing, East Gardens, spoke to subjects, no physical altercation.

9:33 am: Suspicious vehicle, Woodland Park, subject sleeping in auto, subject said he was homeless, gave subject number for Friendship House.

Note:
During the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers gave verbal warnings for speeding in a school zone, failure to dim headlights, no visible registration, no headlights, driving left of center.
