April 4

7:10 pm: Domestic, Willow Way.

April 5

4:25 pm: Menacing, 200 block Wilson St.

April 6

8:01 am: Dog at large, 100 block Lafayette St. Unable to catch.

1:55 pm: Possible scam, 100 block Grassy Lane.

10:27 pm: Auto accident, 400 block High St.

April 7

2:30 pm: A car driven by Haley Nicole Vannier, 19, Wauseon, was stopped in the northbound lane of South Defiance Street, south of E. Mechanic St., waiting for a train to clear the crossing. A sport-utility driven by Kelsey J. Grime, 20, rural Archbold, was stopped behind the Vannier auto. A minivan driven by Brittany N. Pickford, 18, rural Pioneer, was traveling north behind the Grime vehicle. The Pickford and Grime vehicles collided, pushing the sport-utility in the Vannier auto. Pickford was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

11:40 pm: Loud noise, Depot St., advised to quiet down.

April 8

1:29 pm: Loose beagle, 400 block Park St., lost sight of dog in Colony Meadows.

1:50 pm: A minivan driven by Kimberly M. Waldvogel, 44, rural Stryker, owned by the Four County Career Center, was traveling south on N. Defiance St., and was making its required-by-law stop at the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing. Passengers in the van were Brittani J. Stanford, 21, Archbold; Alan M. Pedigo, 18, rural Archbold; James A. Yocklin, 19, Defiance; Thomas L. Chelsie, 18, Defiance; Lawrence A. Junge, 18, Napoleon; and Glenn A. Rioux, 18, Defiance. A pickup truck driven by Brandi K. Beltz, 17, rural Archbold, collided with the minivan. Beltz was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

5:19 pm: Juveniles running around railroad gates, Defiance St. Norfolk Southern Crossing, advised youth against practice.

5:55 pm: Traffic stop, verbal warning for illegally-dark window tinting, 500 block S. Defiance St. Eliseo Cano Sr., 33, Archbold, was arrested for no operator license and transported to Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

7:56 pm: 911 hang-up, 400 block Park St., subject dialed number by accident.

April 9

April 10

Noon: Attempted fraud, 1000 block Olds Lane.

5:18 pm: Juveniles misbehaving, East Gardens, spoke with youth and parents.

During the preceding week, police officers gave verbal warnings for a stop sign violation, stop bar violations, speeding, and passing a vehicle in an intersection.
