Sept. 27

2:39 pm: A car owned by William C. Lingle, Archbold, was driverless, left in gear. The transmission slipped, and the vehicle rolled across the parking lot at Archbold Hospital, striking a parked minivan owned by Kenneth L. Shook, Defiance.

3:03 pm: Hawk with trap on foot caught in garage 1300 block S. Buehrer St., Ohio Department of Natural Resources on the way.

Sept. 28

3:25 pm: A car owned by Michael Wagner, 202 E. Williams St., was parked in front of his residence when the left side mirror was broken. Damaged sometime after 1 pm, Sept. 27.

Sept. 29

3 pm: Warning, two juveniles crossing against traffic, 300 block Stryker St.

9:58 pm: Vandalism, 100 block South Defiance St.

2:40 pm: Criminal mischief, 204 W. Holland St.

Sept. 30

4:11 pm: Theft, 421 N. Defi- ance St.

Oct. 1

8:31 am: A car driven by Molly C. Bateman, 20, New Weston, was stopped in traffi c in the Circle K parking lot. A minivan driven by Amie M. Maynard, 35, Archbold, was backing. They collided.

5:25 pm: House keys found, 1900 block S. Defiance St.

Oct. 2

8:13 pm: Fatal traffic crash, 900 block Stryker St.

11:45 am: A car driven by Mina E. Hood, 81, Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defi ance St. and was stopped at the Norfolk Southern crossing. A second car driven by Joan L. Smith, 68, Archbold, was trav- eling north on S. Defiance St. The two collided. Smith was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

6:13 pm: Dog at large, 200 block Park St., placed in kennel, notified warden.

Oct. 3

11:21 am: Bill Hammond, Antwerp, reported while at volleyball tournament at Archbold High School and Middle School, someone scratched the driver side door of his pickup truck. Damage was done sometime after 8:30 am.

4:26 pm: James Gonzales, 104 West St., reported his children’s bicycles were vandalized, damaged between 10 pm, Oct. 2, and 3 pm, Oct. 3. Damage: $130.

5:55 pm: Juveniles playing on stone piles, 100 block S. Defi- ance St., advised to leave property.

11:19 pm: Loud party, 200 block Vine St., advised subjects to keep it down.

Note:
During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for speeding, failure to drive in marked lanes, disobeying a stop sign, two headlights required, and illegal window tinting.
