Aubree D. (Nofziger) Burrowes, 25, Stryker, was listed in critical condition, Monday, Nov. 26, after she was involved in a two-vehicle accident in Williams County about 9:06 pm, Saturday Nov. 17.
Burrowes is an Archbold native.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol report on the crash states she was a passenger in a car driven by Lindsey Carroll, 21, rural Stryker.
Carroll’s car was traveling west on St. Rt. 107-US20A while a pickup truck, driven by Ernest Simpson, 41, Pioneer, was traveling south on US20A.
The OSHP report states Simpson’s pickup failed to stop for the traffic signal at the intersection of US20A, St. Rt. 107, and St. Rt. 15. The two vehicles collided.
Burrowes had to be extricated from the wreckage. The Williams County Emergency Medical Service took her to Community Hospitals and Wellness Center-Bryan. A helicopter ambulance picked her up at CHWC and flew her to Parkview.
The OSHP report states Carroll was taken to CHWCBryan, but the hospital has no record of her. Simpson suffered non-incapacitating injuries, and was not transported.
OSHP troopers are still investigating the crash.
