Archbold Men Indicted Aug. 18



Two Archbold residents were among the 18 persons indicted by the Fulton County grand jury Monday, Aug. 18.

Joshua K. Bennett, 24, Archbold, was indicted on counts of burglary and theft. Allegedly, on April 28, he broke in to a home and stole a credit card.

Eric A. Lichtenwald, 31, Archbold, was indicted on a single count of passing back checks. Allegedly, on Sept. 29, 2006, he wrote a check for $970, knowing it would be dishonored.

Other persons were charged ranging from drug possession to sex offenses:

•Ryan C. Price, 25, Swanton: indicted on two counts, felonious assault; allegedly, on July 18, caused serious physical harm to two persons.

•Jeremy Malak, 21, Swanton; indicted on one count, felonious assault; allegedly on June 29, caused serious physical harm to another person.

•Ian C. Ruffer, 18, Wauseon; indicted on one count each, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine; allegedly on July 24, was in possession of the pain killer Kadian, which is a brand name for morphine sulfate, a controlled substance, and cocaine.

•Matt A. Klein, 39, Brooklyn, N.Y., indicted on one count each, possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence; allegedly on July 25, was in possession of cocaine, and attempted to destroy or conceal evidence.

•Todd M. Keefer, 33, Fayette; indicted on one count possession of cocaine; allegedly on July 25, was in possession of cocaine.

•Floyd S. Miller, 61, Swanton, indicted on two counts of rape, one count of gross sexual imposition; Allegedly between the dates of July 1 and Aug. 5, engaged in sexual conduct with another, purposely compelling the other to submit by force or threat of force; allegedly had sexual contact with another purposely compelling the other to submit by force or threat of force.

•Patrick J. Gerity, 41, Delta; indicted on four counts gross sexual imposition; allegedly between January 2007 and July 2008, he engaged in sexual contact with persons who were less than 13 years of age.

•Dennis L. Coates, 47, Canton; indicted on two counts importuning, one count disseminating matter harmful to juveniles; allegedly on June 16 and 25, he solicited another, by a telecommunications device, to engage in sexual activity with him; the other person being a law enforcement officer posing as a person between the ages of 13 and 16; allegedly on June 26, disseminated obscene material to a law enforcement officer posing as a juvenile.

•Russell A. Jones, 37, Napoleon; indicted on one count each disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and sexual imposition; allegedly between Jan. 1, 2005 and Dec. 31, 2007, disseminated obscene material to a juvenile, and had sexual contact with another person between the ages of 13 and 16.

•Tyler E. Smith, 32, Delta; indicted on one count, failure to provide notice of change of address; allegedly from July 15 to Aug. 18, failed to provide written notice of his residence change to Fulton County Sheriff, as required by the sexual offender requirement.

•Ronald L. Uyttenhove, 40, Delta; indicted on one count each, burglary and theft; allegedly on July 22, trespassed in an occupied structure and stole a credit card.

•Martin L. Mosher, Jr., 28, Swanton; indicted on one count each theft, forgery, and misuse of credit cards; allegedly on Aug. 10, stole and misused a credit card, then forged a document so that it purported to be genuine when it was not.

•Robert Kenneth Sain, 37, Lansing, Mich.; indicted on one count each, receiving stolen property and theft by deception; allegedly on June 27, was in possession of a 14-foot trailer that was the proper of another; allegedly obtained $2,100 by deception.

•Christopher D. Fay, 24, Napoleon, indicted on one count theft; allegedly between May 21 and May 28, stole property from a Wauseon company valued at more than $500.

•Ryan R. Gibson, 27, Toledo; indicted on two counts, failure to comply with order of signal of police office, and one count, abusing harmful intoxicants; allegedly on Aug. 1, fled police officers, and the operation of his vehicle cause a substantial risk of harm to person or property, and that he was in possession of harmful intoxicants; allegedly, Gibson was previously convicted on a drug abuse offense in Lenawee County, Mich., in 2003.

•Shaelyn M. Mock, 28, Bryan; indicted on one count, failure to appear on personal recognizance bond; allegedly on Aug. 11, failed to appear in Fulton County Common Pleas Court as required by terms of personal recognizance bond, established on a pending felony case.
