Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said Enrique Galvan, 49, Archbold, appeared in court Monday, Jan. 4, and entered a guilty plea to a charge of domestic violence. The charge resulted from a Sept. 23 incident, when Galvan had an altercation with a family member.
James Barber, Fulton County Common Pleas Court judge, sentenced Galvan to seven days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio at Galvan’s cost.
Barber also placed Galvan on three years community control and ordered him to pay a $50 per month supervision fee and cost of prosecution, obtain a general education diploma, have no contact with the victim, stay out of bars, and possess or consume no alcohol.
Failure to comply could result in a 14-month prison sentence.
