Raymount J. Moore, 22, Archbold, has been indicted on a single count of domestic violence by the Fulton County Grand Jury.
Scott A. Haselman, Fulton County prosecuting attorney, said in a press release the grand jury met on Monday, April 16, and returned indictments against eight individuals.
The Archbold police report on the incident states on the night of Monday, March 19, an officer on patrol in Colony Meadows was flagged down by a bystander and told Moore and Margarita E. Rodriguez, 22, were fighting. The two shared a residence.
When the officer arrived at the mobile home, he observed marks on Rodriguez’s neck and bruising to one eye. While Moore denied a physical altercation, Rodriguez said he had choked her.
He was placed under arrested and transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. He is currently free on his own recognizance, with electronic monitoring.
The indictment against Moore states he “allegedly knowingly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member.”
The seven others indicted were:
•Dustin A. Glass, 20, Sand Creek, Mich., indicted on one count each, breaking and entering, theft from an elderly person or disabled adult; on or about March 30 to March 31, allegedly trespassed in a garage and stole tools and miscellaneous items.
•Justin D. McNear, 24, Defiance; indicted on one count, trafficking in marijuana; on or about April 2, allegedly transported marijuana for sale.
•Scott C. Pfaff, 21, Delta; indicted on one count each, grand theft, theft from an elderly person or disabled adult; on or about November 2011 to January 30, 2012, allegedly stole a firearm and other items from an elderly person or disabled adult.
•Robert B. Robertson, 34, Delta; indicted on three counts burglary, one count. theft from an elderly person or disabled adult; on or about Sept. 15 to Nov. 1, 2011, allegedly stole jewelry and coins from an elderly person.
•Shane S. Slusarski, 29, Metamora; indicted on one count, possession of cocaine; on or about Feb. 10, allegedly possessed cocaine.
•Brandon M. Swick, 25, Swanton; indicted on one count each, theft, misuse of credit cards; on or about October 2011 to Jan. 21, 2012, allegedly stole a credit card and used it to purchase property or services valued at more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.
•Michael A. Zalecki, 18, Swanton, indicted on one count, trafficking in marijuana; on or about March 31, 2012, allegedly transported marijuana for sale.
