Newman and Lange return as the squad’s top scorers, averaging 7.8 and 8.7 points per game, respectively. Newman also returns as the leading rebounder, with 116, and had 82 assists.

Rounding out the returnees are sophomores Andrea Allan, Hailey Galvin, Devin Newman and Stacy Wyse,

“This year’s team has excellent depth, but we need to play aggressively and physically to be competitive,” said Miller. “We have good team speed and an experienced group of seniors. Their leadership will be a key to our success.

“A lot of our success will be determined by how hard and how well we play defensively. We need to use our speed, aggressiveness, and depth to pressure teams and make things happen.

“The entire area is filled with solid basketball teams, so it should be an interesting season to be a part of.”
