When tenants were evicted from the East Holland Street Apartments, they allegedly took more than what they owned.
A representative of the complex told Archbold police officers on Friday, March 29, a clothes washer and dryer were stolen when the residents were evicted.
The apartment complex furnishes washers and dryer for each apartment.
Sometime between Wednesday, March 27, and Friday, March 29, the units were stolen when the occupants left the premises.
A value was not placed on the machines.
The manager told officers their whereabouts are unknown.
The investigation continues.
