Amy Christman, AHS ‘11, is among 80 Malone University students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have spent summer abroad in service to others through a variety of service learning trips.
Christman, a sophomore youth/youth educational ministries major and daughter of Erich and Lynne, participated in the trip to Costa Rica.
The university partners with international hosts who have compassion, experience, and knowledge with the people of the countries they visit.
Trips are always created around the participant’s potential to learn about the culture and from the nationals. The service projects are designed by nationals of the host country to address a real need.
