The Archbold volleyball team kept its record perfect at 8-0, 4-0 in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League with four victories last week.
The Streaks were ranked 12th in Division III in the first weekly Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association poll, and moved up to 10th in the second poll.
AHS started the week playing host to Patrick Henry for an NWOAL match, Tuesday, Sept. 15. The Streaks won in three games, 25-6, 25-19, 25-20.
The Blue and Gold traveled to Bryan, Thursday, Sept. 17 for their second league match of the week, and again won in three, 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.
Halfway through the league season, Archbold and Delta are tied for the top spot. Evergreen is right behind, at 3-0.
The Streaks were back on the road, Saturday, Sept. 19, to Napoleon for a tri-match with the Wildcats and Fairview. Archbold disposed of the Apaches first, 25-10, 25-12, then Napoleon, 25-13, 25-17.

Stacy Wyse was 92/95 in setting and 17/18 in serving, including two aces, to lead AHS. Jenna Nofziger also served two aces, while Mindy Wyse and Alyssa Schaub each served one. As a team, Archbold was 65/70 in serving.
Devin Newman was 30/33 in attacks with 12 kills. Emily Snyder was 12/15 with 11 kills, Hailey Galvan was 16/20 with eight kills, and Schaub was 22/25 with seven kills. As a team, the Streaks were 95/112 in attacks with 41 kills.
Betsy Wyse, Newman, and Nicole Hurst each had solo blocks. The Streaks had 72 digs.

Newman was 22/24 in attacks with 11 kills, while Snyder was 16/18 with 10 kills. Schaub was 22/23 with nine kills; and Galvan was 16/20 with eight kills. As a team, AHS was 94/105 in attacks with 46 kills.
Stacy Wyse was 60/62 in setting; as a team, AHS was 91/93.
Nofziger, Mindy Wyse, Stacy Wyse, and Sarah Wyse each served aces. Archbold was 63/72 as a team in serving and 41/46 on serve reception. The Streaks had 54 digs. Stacy Wyse, Snyder, and B. Wyse each had solo blocks.

Nofziger served the team’s two aces; as a team, AHS was 46/49 in serving.
Stacy Wyse was 54/54 in setting; the Streaks were 67/67 in setting as a team. Newman had eight kills; Snyder and Schaub each had five. The Streaks were 60/71 in attacks with 26 kills.
B. Wyse had two solo blocks; Snyder had one.

Stacy Wyse was 45/45 in setting, had one kill, and served three aces to lead AHS. M. Wyse served two aces; Nofziger and Newman each served one. The Streaks were 44/48 in serving, including seven aces.
Galvan had seven of the team’s 22 kills. Schaub had five; Newman and Snyder each had four.
