“Great league game!” said Jill Holdgreve, AHS head coach.
“Energy is always high for this match. We did a lot of great things in the first three sets with reading hitters and having a strong serve receive.
“Credit to Wauseon for finishing strong and coming through in the end with their big hits and huge serve rally in the fourth game.
“Our team has a good road ahead going into tournament. It’s great having challenges like the one we had tonight against Wauseon.
“We need to evaluate our weaknesses, make some tweaks and go. Shout-out to our seniors tonight who played at home for the final time (Lauren Miller, Taylor Miller, Brooke Aeschliman, Macey Rupp).
“It’s been a great six years of volleyball for them. We wish them nothing but the best as they head onto their future endeavors.”
