AHS Tennis Splits Week

The Archbold boys tennis team split two home matches last week for a 9-2 record on the season.

The Streaks blanked Ayersville 5-0, Tuesday, April 17, but lost to Ottawa Hills 3-2, Thursday, April 19.

Singles: 1. Bryce Tinsman (A) def. Shane Miller 6-4, 6-0. 2. Chan Tinsman (A) def. Austen Pina 7-5, 6-4. 3. Ryan King (A) def. Tyler Zimmerman 6-1, 7-5.

Doubles: 1. McCaylen Croninger and Antonio Cuellar (A) def. Hadassen Zeverts and Miranda Decatur 6-1, 6-0. 2. Brodie Ranzau and Jesse Felix (A) def. Angilica Morena and Maria Weber 6-3, 6-2. Ottawa Hills 3, AHS 2

Singles: 1. M. Gargas (OH) def. Kevin Fredrick 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. 2. Nick Cassidy (A) def. J. Hylant 6-3, 6-3. 3. B. Tinsman (A) def. C. Brochin 6-2, 6-0.
