AHS Marching Band In Chicago

The Archbold High School Marching Band is shown with “Sue,” the Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, Ill. The museum often hosts musical groups, said Beth Voll, AHS band director. The band traveled to the Windy City Friday-Sunday, Nov. 17-19. In addition to performing at the museum, members participated in a clinic at the VanderCook College of Music, where a professor worked with them to prepare for large group competitions later this winter. There was also time for some fun, including attending a performance art event and the Magnificent Mile Festival of Lights Parade.
