The Archbold junior varsity girls basketball team split two road games last week.
The team traveled to Springfield, Tuesday, Feb. 7, for a tough game. The Streaks were down 21-11 at halftime but battled back to trail by only five with three minutes to go.
Springfield went on a 9-0 run to win 42-28.
Alexa Coressel had 12 points and Winter Fricke had six steals.
The team traveled to Delta, Thursday, Feb. 9. After a close first quarter, Archbold (11-7) led 21-13 at the half and never looked back, winning 43-25.
Hannah Hesterman had nine points and nine rebounds. Krista Leupp had four assists and three steals. Also scoring were Megan Miller and Lexi Ramirez with seven points each.
