Wauseon won its third straight title at the Northwest Ohio Athletic League golf tournament, Friday, Sept. 19, at Auglaize Golf Club, Defiance.
The Indians won with a team score of 321. Swanton was second with 340, and Bryan was third with 341. Liberty Center took fourth with 344, and Archbold was fifth with 347.
Patrick Henry was sixth with 350; Montpelier 368; Evergreen 375; Delta 456.
Ian Radabaugh shot a team-low score of 79 and finished fourth.
Brandon Miller finished 12th with an 84, while Elijah Miller was 20th with an 89. Meridith Short was 32nd with a 95; D.J. Schroeder was 36th with a 96; and Jackson Kelley was 39th with a 98.
Wauseon’s Trevor Dominique shot a tournament low for the second straight year, finishing with a 69.
Combined with regularseason results, where the Indians finished 8-0, the Indians won the league title with 17 points under the new points format being used this year.
Swanton finished second with 13 points. Liberty Center was third with 12; Archbold and Bryan tied for fourth with 10 each.
The Streaks had five NWOAL wins and received five points for their league tournament finish.

In Archbold’s final regularseason match, the Indians won with a team score of 159. Liberty Center finished with 169, and Archbold had 171.
Radabaugh was match medalist with a low score of 35. Schroeder and B. Miller each shot a 45, while E. Miller had a 46. Short had a 51, and Kelley shot a 53.
The Division II girls sec- tional golf tournament was scheduled to be played yesterday, Tuesday, at Country Acres, Ottawa. Archbold was among the seven participating schools to send individuals.
The top three teams and three individual low scorers not on a qualifying team advance to the district tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course, Arlington, on Monday, Sept. 29.
The Division II boys sectional tournament is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25, at Detwiler Park Golf Course, Toledo.
Teams scheduled to play there include Archbold, Delta, Eastwood, Genoa, Huron, Lake, Liberty Center, Oak Harbor, Otsego, Rossford, Swanton, and Wauseon.
