The Archbold boys golf team won a tri-match with Toledo Christian and Ottawa Hills last week, as well as a Northwest Ohio Athletic League match against Delta.
AHS 160, Ottawa Hills 168, Toledo Christian 208
The Streaks traveled to Toledo, Tuesday, Aug. 29, for a tri-match with the Green Bears and Eagles.
Archbold came out on top with a low team score of 160. Ottawa Hills was eight strokes behind, with a 168, and Toledo Christian finished with a 208.
Trevor Rupp and Brandon Miller shared match medalist honors with OH’s Dupree with low scores of 39.
Also for Archbold, Kade Kern and Mitch Grosjean each finished with a 41; A.J. Mahnke 42; Kreighton Sims 44.
AHS 150, Delta 196
Archbold set a school record for nine holes when the Streaks defeated the Panthers 150-196, Thursday, Aug. 31, at White Pines.
The Blue Streaks’ score was one stroke better than the previous record of 151, set in 2008 at the same course.
Miller was match medalist, shooting a low score of 36. Grosjean shot a 37; Kern 38; Mahnke 39; Sims 41; and Rupp 42.
