AHS Girls Tennis Improves To 8-4

The Archbold girls tennis won both doubles matches in a 3-2 defeat of Ottawa- Glandorf, Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Archbold.

The Streaks traveled to Bryan, Thursday, Sept. 17, for a Northwest Ohio Athletic League match. The Bears blanked AHS 5-0.

Archbold is 8-4 on the season.

AHS 3, OG 2

Singles: 1. Tiffany Kohle (OG) def. Darby Stevens 6-1, 6-2. 2. Sara Bilen (A) def. Lexi Haselman 6-3, 7-6 (7-5). 3. Mariah Schroeder (OG) def. Ashley Jones 6-3, 6-2.

Doubles: 1. Viviana Garcia and Emily Rose (A) def. Robyn Maas and Madison Heckman 6-3, 4-6, 6- 3. 2. Lydia Andres and Caroline Kinsman (A) def. Kristin Ellerbrock and Lindsay Schneeg 6-2, 6-1.

Bryan 5, AHS 0

Singles: 1. AJ Breneman (B) def. Stevens 6-3, 6-1. 2. Trista Savage (B) def. Bilen 6-1, 6-0. 3. Chloe McCashen (B) def. Isabel Krieger 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles: 1. Kendra Wheeler and Elizabeth Hoene (B) def. Garcia and Rose 6-2, 7-6 (7-2). 2. Morgan Bauer and Kim Roberts (B) def. Andres and Kinsman 6-2, 6-3.
