AHS Girls Soccer Scores Blowout Wins

The Archbold girls soccer team, ranked number one in Division III by the Northwest Ohio Soccer Coaches Association in last week’s poll, took to the road and came home with a pair of blowout wins to remain unbeaten at 4-0.

Over the first four games, the Streaks have outscored their opponents 28-3.

Archbold traveled to Port Clinton, Tuesday, Sept. 1, and scored a 6-0 victory.

Emie Peterson scored a hat trick (three goals) for the Streaks. She also scored a hat trick against Springfield, Aug. 25.

Alicia Hernandez scored two goals and Cassi Wyse added a goal to round out the scoring.

Hernandez and Kamryn Hostetler assisted on two goals each. Giulia Lee had one assist.

AHS took another long bus ride, Saturday, Sept. 5 to Paulding.

Eight Streaks contributed to the scoring barrage that led to an easy 11-0 victory.

Lily Krieger scored a hat trick while Hernandez scored three twice.

Hostetler, Faith Wyse, Kennedy Hammon, Lexa Richardson, Dakota Stamm, and Marissa Fryman all scored goals.

Peterson had three assists.

Hernandez scored two assists while Hammon, Stamm, Sydney Ranzau, and Katie Short each had one.
