AHS Girls Soccer Ends Season 13-1-2

The Archbold girls soccer team didn’t allow a single goal in its last two games to finish the regular season with a 13-1-2 record.

The Streaks defeated Cory-Rawson 7-0, Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Spengler Field.

Archbold hosted Toledo Waite, Thursday, Oct. 14, and won 10-0.

Throughout the season, the Streaks scored 89 goals, for an average of 5.6 per game, and allowed opponents to score 15, an average of .94 goals per game.

Archbold didn’t allow a goal in 10 of the season’s 16 contests.

AHS 7, Cory-Rawson 0

Jesse Fidler and Cassidy Wyse each scored two goals, while Alicia Drewes, Mindy Rupp, and Megan Arend each scored one.

Alicia Drewes had three assists; Trisha King had one.

AHS 10, Waite 0

Alicia Drewes scored two goals. Scoring one each were Ashley Short, Ashley David, Sierra Nofziger, King, Carley Wyse, Cassidy Wyse, Fidler, and Rupp.

Lauren Kindinger, Alicia Drewes, Alora Drewes, and Cassidy Wyse each had an assist.
