AHS Boys Track Wins 12 Events, Beats Dogs

The Archbold boys track team won 12 events to defeat Swanton in track action, Thursday, April 1.

The Streaks scored 79 points to the Bulldogs’ 53.

Pole vault:
1. Dean Herrett, 12 feet, 0 inches; 2. Clayton Lehman, 10-6; 3. Darin Sauder, 9-6.

Shot put:
1. Josh Meyers, 45-6.

Discus:
1. Meyers, 133-7; 2. Jacob Strong, 114-7.

Long jump:
1. Desmond Sleigh, 21-1; 2. Andrew Thatcher, 18-8 1/2.

High jump:
1. Tyler Porter, 5-8.

4×800:
1. Archbold (Zach D’Alelio, Gabe Rodriguez, Adrian Ramirez, Noah Keefer), 9 minutes, 5.5 seconds.

100:
1. Sleigh, 11.5 seconds.

1600:

The Streaks won three events, with two of the wins by Kassidy Garrow. Swanton scored 87 points to Archbold’s 26.

1. Young, 85-11; 2. Gobrogge, 79-0.

Long jump:
