The Archbold boys cross country team finished fourth out of 12 teams with 117 points at the Liberty Center Widewater Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 22.
Perrysburg won with 43 team points. Delta was second with 103, and Midpark was third with 109.
Bryce Tinsman was the first Blue Streak to finish. He finished sixth in 16 minutes, 48 seconds.
Alex Hurst was 17th in 17:32, and Zeb Frank was 23rd in 17:43. Matt Kinsman was 34th in 18:05, and Ben Eggers was 42nd in 18:14.
Tiffin Columbian’s Brandon Gibson won in 16:30.
Other AHS runners, their places and times: 57. Nathan Wachtmann 18:47; 60. Pete Schoenhals 19:01.
The AHS girls had only four runners, so they didn’t compete in the team standings.
Liberty Center won with 22 points, placing five of the top seven runners. Hopewell- Loudon was second with 78, and Toledo Christian was third with 83.
Ellie Sonnenberg was the first Blue Streak across the finish line. She was 18th in 21:53.
Taylor DeWolfe was 36th in 22:45, while Demetria Martinez was 60th in 24:39. Caroline Vonier was 72nd in 26:56.
Toledo Christian’s Delainey Phelps won in 18:15.
