AHS Baseball Wins Opener



The Archbold baseball team kicked off the season with a 1-0 win at Ottawa- Glandorf (0-1), Saturday, March 26.

The Streaks recorded the win in the top of the fifth off an Ian Radabugh sacrifice fly.

Lathon Babcock recorded the win on the mound, giving up three hits in the shutout. He struck out seven and walked one.

Babcock also went 2-3 at the plate with one double.

Toby Walker led AHS, going

3-3.

Archbold had nine hits in the contest.

“This was a very well-played high school baseball game with no errors and only one walk,” said Dick Selgo, AHS head coach.
