Archbold police issued two accident reports recently.
One report, dated Friday, July 13, covered a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 8:50 am on North Defiance Street, about 189 feet north of the West Holland Street intersection.
The report states a sportutility vehicle, driven by Lizbeth F. Ruscigno, 49, Archbold was traveling south in the turn lane, to make a left onto East Holland Street.
A car, driven by Sarena K. Wentz, 44, rural Alvordton, was backing out of an angled parking space on the west side of North Defiance Street. They collided.
An officer stated, “due to conflicting statements and vehicles having been moved, the officer writing the report could not determine who was at fault.” No injuries.
A two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:30 am, Thursday, Aug 16, on South Defiance Street north of Short-Buehrer Road.
A car, driven by Sheryl L. Vaughn, 60, Delta, was traveling south on South Defiance Street, and was slowing in traffic about 150 feet north of Short-Buehrer Road.
A pickup truck, driven by Anne Marie Traxler, 37, Camden, Mich., was stopped in traffic, waiting for the traffic signal. They collided.
Vaughn was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. No injuries.
