Nine 4-H volunteers and the 4-H Extension educator from Fulton County attended the 2010 Ohio 4-H Volunteer Conference in Columbus, Saturday, March 13.
The conference attracted more than 900 youth and adult volunteers from across the state and is the conclusion of the celebration of Ohio 4-H Week.
The objective of the event was to recognize volunteers in the state 4-H program and enable volunteers to learn new skills and share ideas with each other in the various subject matters offered by the Ohio 4-H program.
Attending from Fulton County were Jill Stechschulte, extension educator; Jackie and Mark Ballmer; Linda Bollinger; Lisa and Jessica Hoffmann; Ann and Chris Kirkum; and Mark and Amy Miller.
Fulton County advisors recognized for their contributions to the 4-H program were Richard Lumbrezer, Jean Miller, Winona Minkowski, 20 years; Cindy Harris, Terry Henricks, 25 years; Paula Jean Savage, Joyce Schwyn, 35 years; and Arlene Stoup, 55 years.
