Color photos are preferred; contrast is very important . Any dark photos will reprint darker on newsprint. Pictures are printed one column wide and no taller than 3”. Photos are never used full length; they are usually cropped at the waistline or hands. Close-up photos from the waist up reproduce the best. Hi-Res images work the best.
