Archbold Police Make Two Arrests

Archbold police arrested two men during the first few days of June, reports say.

Police were called to an apartment in the East Gardens complex about 3:13 pm, Sunday, June 3, on a report of domestic violence.

In his report, an officer stated he spoke with Eusebio L. Felix, 53, of Toledo, who suffered an apparent minor injury. He also spoke to a witness. The officer then contacted the suspect.

“After my investigation, I determined the primary physical aggressor to be the suspect in question. I then met the suspect outside (the apartment).”

With assistance from the Fulton County Sheriff Department, the suspect, John Jay Felix, 57, rural Fayette, was placed under arrest on a charge of domestic violence. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

An initial appearance in Fulton County Western District Court was held for Felix.

A preliminary hearing is set for June 27. He was released on his own recognizance.

Warrant

Police were dispatched to the home of John W. Reeb, 35, 305 Union Street, to serve an arrest warrant about 2:47 pm, Friday, June 1.

In his report, the officer said he identified Reeb, verified the warrant, and then placed Reeb under arrest. Reeb was taken to CCNO.

Defiance County

Records from Defiance County Common Pleas Court available over the Internet indicate Reeb was arrested after his community control was revoked.

Community control was instituted after he was convicted of aggravated possession of drugs. A Defiance County grand jury indicted Reeb on the charge in September 2016.

As of Sunday night, June 10, Reeb was still incarcerated at CCNO.
