Pettisville Softball Beats Stritch, Falls To Locos

Pettisville hosted Cardinal Stritch, Monday, April 2, and won 6-1.

Kyra Behnfeldt was the winning pitcher. In seven innings, she allowed one run on two hits, struck out 15, and walked three.

The Birds tallied nine hits. Behnfeldt led PHS with two doubles, two singles, and four runs batted in.

Sami Tilley had two singles, while Elise Hartzler, Kenzi Rivera, and Xavia Borden each had a base hit.

Montpelier 11, PHS 9

Pettisville hosted Montpelier on a chilly, windy Thursday, April 5.

The Locos exploded for six runs in the seventh inning while giving up three to the Birds in the bottom of the inning for an 11-9 BBC win.

Behnfeldt was the hardluck loser. In seven innings, she allowed 11 runs on 12 hits, struck out five, and walked one.

Pettisville recorded 10 hits. Tilley led PHS with two singles and a double. Britt Sauder had three singles, and Lexi Sauder had a double.
