Pettisville Quiz Team Fourth In Petti Wars

The Pettisville High School quiz team, the “Nerd Herd,” hosted its first invitational quiz tournament, dubbed “Petti Wars,” the weekend of March 3-4.

The Pettisville A team tied for fourth place, and was the highest placing small school in the tournament.

The Pettisville B team was first in the consolation bracket.

Jake Myers, a senior, was named First Team All-Tournament. Levi Myers, a freshman, was the high scorer for the B squad.

Wauseon and Swanton teams were among those participating.

The Wauseon and Pettisville A teams went headto head twice. Pettisville defeated Wauseon in both matches, 265-205 and 410- 110.

9. Pettisville B 5-2; 10. Ottawa Hills 4-3; 11. Olentangy Liberty B 3-4; 12. Bowling Green Christian Academy 2-5; 13. Riverdale B 3-4; 14. Van Wert 2-5; 15. Wauseon B 1-6; 16. Kenton 2-5.
