Woman Hospitalized After June 29 Crash

Chelsea Danielle Sheehy, 25, Bryan, was hospitalized at the Mercy St. Vincent Health Center, Toledo, after the car she was driving collided with a semi truck about 1:59 pm, Thursday, June 29.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol report on the crash states Sheehy was traveling west on US 6 in Ridgeville Township, Henry County, when she went left of center east of Henry Co. Rd. 19, and struck the left, or driver, side of the eastbound semi trailer.

Sheehy’s car struck the trailer’s two rear axles.

Ridgeville Rescue was called to the crash scene. Sheehy was transported by helicopter ambulance from the scene to St. Vs. She was discharged from the hospital the following day.

The semi driver was Ronald Herbert Wensley, 55, Belleville, Mich. He was not injured. The tractor-trailer was owned by Logos Logistics, Romulus, Mich.

Troopers issued Sheehy a citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
