Pettisville Girls Fly Past Apaches 46-22

The Birds (6-3) led 26-14 at the half and 35-16 after three.

Morgan Leppelmeier led all scorers, with 17 points. Alexa Leppelmeier scored 14.

Carlie Phillips led the Apaches, with 11.

Pettisville was 18-36 from the field for 50% and 6-12 at the foul line for 50%. Fairview was 7-35 from the field for 20% and 7-13 at the foul line for 54%.

The Birds won the rebounding battle 33-21 and committed one fewer turnover, 18, while Fairview had 19.

“It was a solid defensive effort tonight with everyone playing hard,” said Jason Waldvogel, PHS head coach.
