Rotary Speech & Essay Winners

Archbold Rotary Club heard 4-Way Test speech and essay contest winners from Archbold High School during its Friday, April 27 meeting. AHS students in speech and English classes applied the Rotary 4-Way Test for decision-making to an experience from their own life. The test consists of four questions: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Front row, from left: Katy Small wrote the winning essay, and Rachel Bowman authored the winning speech. Each received $100. Second row: Jordan Cowell and Meg Short, honorable mention essay winners, and Mindy Rupp and John Hartman, honorable mention speech winners. Each received $75. In the back is Jodi Herman, the rotary member who coordinated the contest.– courtesy photo Archbold Rotary Club heard 4-Way Test speech and essay contest winners from Archbold High School during its Friday, April 27 meeting.
