Two Wauseon teens were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on St. Rt. 66 about a tenth (.1) of a mile south of Henry County Rd. U about 3:09 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 25.

The Henry County Sheriff Department report states a car, driven by Agustin M. Delgado, 17, was traveling north on St. Rt. 66. A passenger in the Delgado auto was Chelsea Marie Hartman, 17.
A pickup truck, driven by Michael G. Hartsell, 48, Grand Rapids, owned by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold, was traveling south.
The report states northbound traffic on St. Rt. 66 was stopped, waiting for a vehicle to make a left turn onto Henry County Rd. U.
Delgado, approaching from behind the stopped vehicles, could not stop in time, and swerved to the left to avoid a collision.
In doing so, he went left of the centerline and struck the pickup head-on.
Ridgeville Rescue responded to the crash scene and called for assistance from ALS-1, the Archbold-based Fulton County paramedic unit, and Archbold Rescue. A helicopter ambulance landed at the crash scene and transported the teens to the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
Both were admitted to St. V's. Hartman was discharged Friday, Jan. 27. Delgado was released the following day.
Ridgeville Rescue transported Hartsell to the Fulton County Health Center, where he was treated and released.–Updated 1.30, 3:30 pm
