Several Wrecks Reported To County Sheriff

Several accidents in the Archbold area, or involving Archbold-area people, were recently reported to the Fulton County Sheriff Department:

2:43 pm, Sunday, Dec. 11: A car, driven by Eric A. Fowler, 29, Perrysburg, with passengers Gabriel L. Riley, 31, and Vanessa L. Voelzke, 31, Wauseon, was traveling east on St. Rt. 2; a car driven by Christian Gilbert, 19, Pettisville, was traveling south on Co. Rd. 22. They collided in the intersection; no injuries.

7:17 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 13: a pickup truck, driven by Larry Slattman, 56, rural Fayette, was traveling north on Co. Rd. 23, and hit a deer about a quarter-mile north of Co. Rd. L; no injury.

2:30 pm, Thursday, Dec. 15: Michelle E. Loar, 25, rural Archbold, was driving a minivan east in the 15000 block of Co. Rd. E when the vehicle went out of control, drove off the north side of the road, went through a ditch, and struck a tree with a glancing blow; Loar was cited for failure to control; no injuries.

5:39 pm, Friday, Dec. 16: Kevin L. Bechtel, 32, Archbold, was driving a car north on Co. Rd. 16 with passengers Collin King, 14, Archbold, and Derrick Evan Mosgrove, 16, rural Wauseon, and hit a deer fourtenths of a mile south of Co. Rd. C; no injuries.

9:28 pm, Saturday, Dec. 17: Darin K. Short, 42, Goshen, Ind., was driving a minivan north on St. Rt. 66 with passengers Lisa J. Short, 43, and Mason L. Short, 12, same address, and hit deer, one-tenth of a mile north of Co. Rd. F; no injuries.
