Trasey Kim (Reed) Newlove


Trasey Newlove Trasey Newlove Trasey Kim (Reed) Newlove, age 51, of Wauseon, peacefully passed into her heavenly home on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at the Fulton County Health Center.

Trasey worked in children’s clothing, designing clothes and sales manager for Mary Jane’s Children Clothing in Napoleon.

Trasey was born in Wauseon on Jan. 8, 1960, to Thomas and Sue (Fankhauser) Reed. On Dec. 20, 2002, she married Joe Newlove, and he survives.

She attended Oasis Christian Fellowship in Wauseon.

Trasey had an infectiously loving personality and a smile that lit up the room. She bravely battled cancer for almost 6 1/2 years and was an inspiration to many people in the Northwest Ohio region.

Trasey wishes that all of her friends and family remember her with joy and happiness and continue to live life to its fullest.

Surviving, besides her husband, Joe, is one daughter, Madchen Pence of Wauseon; her mother and stepfather, Sue (Bob) Riegsecker of Archbold; two sisters, Tonia Reed and Amy (Max) Smith, both of Archbold; a stepson, Jeff (Wanda) Newlove of Wauseon; a stepdaughter, Jill (Troy) Armstrong of Archbold; six step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Reed.

Trasey’s life was celebrated at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Oasis Christian Fellowship in Wauseon, with Pastor Louie Weber and Pastor Vic Cales, officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Madchen Pence Scholarship Fund. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon was entrusted with arrangements.
