Gerald Kowalski, the court-appointed receiver of Archbold Elevator and its associated businesses, said attorneys currently are evaluating bids.

Archbold Elevator was placed in receivership earlier this year, after a routine check by the Ohio Department of Agriculture revealed financial problems at the elevator.

Bids were accepted until Tuesday, Aug. 30.

“We hope, within seven to 10 days, to have a recommendation to the (Fulton County Common Pleas) court on the bids,” Kowalski said.
