All-Star Cage Classic Scheduled For April 8
Garrett Morton, Clay Giesige, Nicole Hurst, and Alicia Drewes, seniors at Archbold High School, are four of many area senior allstars to play in the 28th annual Four County All-Star Cage Classic, Friday, April 8, at Bryan High School.
Action starts at 7 p.m. with the girls game.
Morton, Giesige, Pettisville’s Taylor Short, and Fayette’s Tyler Keefer and Darrell Randall are on the East boys team, which includes senior all-star players from Fulton and Henry counties.
The West team includes high schools in Defiance and Williams counties. Stryker’s Gabe Ruffer is on the West team.
There are 23 schools participating. Girls
In the girls game, Hurst, Drewes, Pettisville’s Kayla King and Brady Avina, and Fayette’s Rachel Seiler are on the East roster. Contests
Slam dunk and threepoint shoot-off contests are held between the boys and girls games.
In the boys all-star series, the East leads 19-8. The East girls lead 14-13.
