Maddy, 7, is a student at Archbold Elementary School who is battling leukemia.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a charity that raises money to research cures for childhood cancers.

The players made the pledge if they raised $500 they'd get their hair shaved off. Joe Frank, AHS assistant boys basketball coach and an AHS teacher, said he'd have his head shaved if the players raised $1,000. Tim Meister, AHS principal, said he'd get his head shaved if they raised $1,500. Tina Stanley, AHS athletic trainer, said she'd get her hair shaved off if they raised $2,000. David Deskins, Archbold school superintendent, said he'd have his hair shaved if $5,000 was raised.

All sat down at an assembly in the high school gymnasium in front of elementary and high school students, Wednesday afternoon, March 9, to fulfill their pledges.

The four videos include a special appearance by the guest of honor, Maddy Lambert.–Posted 3.9, 9 pm
