Sept. 26

9:18 am: Dog at large, 1200 block Stryker St., placed in kennel, notified dog warden.

3:19 pm: Report of reckless operation, 200 block E. Mechanic St., spoke with driver.

5:27 pm: Vandalism to vehicle, 300 block E. Holland St.

Sept. 27

3:33 pm: A car, driven by Clayton John Lehman, 16, rural Archbold, was traveling south on S. Defiance St., and was slowing in traffic. A minivan, driven by Michelle Oyer-Rose, 32, rural Archbold, with passengers Natalie Oyer, 6, and Lee Tamaiya, 7, all of the same address, was ahead of the car and was slowing and attempting to stop.

The two vehicles collided. The crash occurred about 900 feet north of Co. Rd. A. Lehman was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

Sept. 28

1:17 am: Theft report, East Gardens.

Sept. 29

11:53 pm: Report of pickup truck with no taillights, 1000 block E. Lutz Rd., gone when officer arrived.

Sept. 30

1:35 pm: A car, driven by Natasha R. Velez, 22, Defi- ance, with passenger Chanel Velez-Mason, 2, same address, was traveling south in the 200 block of S. Defiance St., and was slowing for a vehicle stopped in front of her for a trash can in the roadway. A second car, driven by Tylor A. Neuenschwander, 22, Edon, was behind the Velez auto. They collided north of Union St. Neuenschwander was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

3:29 pm: Citation to Eric V. Buckenmeyer, 17, Archbold, for failure to stop for a stopped school bus with its lights flashing.

Oct. 1

7:51 am: Verbal warning for dropping children off in roadway, 300 block W. Holland St.

3:47 pm: Dog complaint, advised owners.

7:58 pm: Subject harassed at football game, advised subject doing the harassing to leave stadium.

11:17 pm: Disabled vehicle, 100 block South St., assisted subject moving vehicle.

Oct. 2

12:29 am: Missing juvenile, 15-year-old Archbold girl, 500 block N. Defiance St., located and returned home.

1:10 pm: Juvenile left home during night, 1900 block S. Defiance St., has not returned; located juvenile, returned home, placed 15-year-old girl under house arrest.

4:04 pm: Picked up German Shepherd, 1900 block S. Defiance St., notified dog warden.

6:43 pm: Juveniles playing with air gun, 200 block North St., advised not to use within village limits, parents will take care of problem.

Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers gave verbal warnings for speeding, one license plate, no front plate, and two different plates on one vehicle.
