Police Called To Fight At Convenience Store
A group of about 10 people was involved in a fight at the Circle K parking lot about 1 am, Saturday, Aug. 21.
An Archbold police officer was dispatched to the scene about 1:02 am, but the subjects fled in a small silver car and a black sport-utility vehicle before the officer arrived.
Brian Engler, Archbold, told police he saw part of the fight. During the course of the skirmish, one of the doors of his sport-utility was damaged. The repair cost was estimated at $200.
At Least 10
The police report states “at least 10 subjects were pushing and throwing punches.”
A review of the store videotape did not reveal any identifiable suspects.

The police report on a 1:33 am, Sunday, Aug. 8 incident at East Gardens makes mention of subjects leaving the scene “in a silver vehicle.”
It is not known if the two incidents are connected.
