      Jan. 31 9:26 pm: Juvenile pointed laser light into residence, 100 block Elm St., spoke to juvenile and juvenile’s mother. Feb. 1 12:25 am: Lost dog, 100 block West Barre Rd., located and returned to owner. 2:30 pm: Possible theft of firewood, 300 block Ditto Street, spoke to suspect, who will return wood.

Gun Found In Vehicle At PHS; Boy In Custody
      A 16-year-old boy, a student at Pettisville High School, is in custody after a gun was allegedly found in his vehicle in the school parking lot, Thursday, Feb. 4. He is being held at the Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Facility; charges of bringing a firearm onto school property are pending.

Report Possible Identity Theft
      Kimberly Garrow, Archbold, told police Wednesday, Feb. 3, someone may have stolen her identity. Garrow said for more than a year, businesses have been calling her home, asking for an individual who does not live at her residence. Then recently, Garrow’s phone bill included a charge from an Internet music service.

Woman Spots Signs Of Prowler
      Jasmine Riballi, 503 Jackson St., told Archbold police officers she discovered tracks in the snow, leading from the street, between her house and garage, up to her vehicle, then back to the street. She told officers her dog began barking between 4 am and 5 am, Saturday, Feb. 6, then again around 6 am.

Fire Department Gets Grant For Mini Fire Truck
      The Archbold Fire Department has received a $40,565 grant from the federal government. AFD is one of 32 Ohio fire departments to get money through the Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program operated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Auto, Deer Collide
      Michael E. Birky, 45, Archbold, was involved in a crash when the minivan he was driving on Co. Rd. F hit a deer about 5:44 am, Friday, Jan. 22. The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Birky was driving east on the county road when the collision occurred about twotenths of a mile west of Co. Rd. 25. No injuries.

Crime Stopper
      A snowplow valued at $5,000 was reported stolen from behind a barn in the 2000 block of US20, in the Swanton area. The Crime Stopper program is seeking help to find those responsible for the theft. The plow was taken sometime between Jan. 2 and Jan. 3. Informants call 1-800-255- 1122. ------
