Ridgeville Corners Couple Celebrates 60th Anniversary
     Mr. and Mrs. John F. Arnos, Ridgeville Corners, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. John F. Arnos and Doris Leininger were married Feb. 11, 1950, at St. James Lutheran Church, Burlington, by Rev. Hillis Hall. They are the parents of three children: Dorothy (Duane) Sorrell, Wauseon; Barbara Smith, Swanton; and the late Kenneth (Cindi) Arnos, Liberty Center.

Matthews Tours In Goshen Choir
     Clayton Matthews, PHS ‘07, is one of 46 members of the Goshen College men’s chorus who will tour parts of the eastern United States Feb. 21-28. During the tour, the chorus will perform at churches and schools in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Pennsylvania. A second tenor in the chorus, Matthews is the son of Mark and Ruth, Wauseon.

Fairlawn Hosts Heart Carnival
     Martha Armstrong, activities director at the Fairlawn Haven retirement campus, said Fairlawn will again host the annual Heart Carnival from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, Thursday, Feb. 11. The event features games, with several activities for young children. The event is in conjunction with the annual Fulton County Heart Radiothon fund drive. Money raised goes to the Radiothon.

     Logan Stuckey, AHS ‘07, was named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester at the Ferris State University College of Engineering Technology, Big Rapids, Mich. Students must have a minimum 3.5 gpa to qualify. Stuckey is a son of Brian and Lori Aeschliman, Archbold. ------

     John Schoenhals, Archbold, and Kent Beck, Hesston, Kan., and formerly of Archbold, were named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester at Hesston (Kan.) College Students must have a minimum 3.9 gpa to qualify. Darin Bontrager, Archbold, was named to the honor roll. Students must have a 3.5-3.89 gpa to qualify.
