Dec. 13

6:12 pm: Citation to Richard C. Engler, 40, rural Stryker, driving while license suspended, 200 block W. Williams St.

4:50 pm: Two juveniles walking between houses, following a short cut, advised to use sidewalks.

Dec. 16

7:11 am: Subject wearing dark clothing in roadway, 1100 block S. Defiance St., advised to wear something reflective.

7:43 am: Theft, Circle K.

2:31 pm: A sport-utility driven by Margie L. Grieser, 58, rural Fayette, was traveling west in the Dollar General parking lot while a car driven by Valetta M. Stuckey, 78, Archbold, was backing out of a parking space. They collided.

8:32 pm: Theft, Archbold Laundromat.

10:18 pm: Dog in store, Videos Unlimited, took to kennel.

Dec. 17

8:45 am: A car driven by Jo Ann Falcusan, 59, Archbold, was traveling west on Stryker St., and was stopped in traffic. A semi driven by Steve Bunnich, 51, Clay Township, Mich., owned by Covenant Transport, Chattanooga, Tenn., was traveling west on Stryker St., and was backing to the east. They collided. Bunnich was cited for violating rules for starting and backing vehicles.

9:09 am: Vern Nemire, of Nu-Arch Lanes, reported between 12:45 am and 8:15 am, someone drove a semi truck into the bowling center parking lot, running over a large rock; the rock became stuck in the trailer wheels. The semi drove over the lawn to dislodge the rock, doing about $200 in damage.

3:39 pm: Commercial vehicle stopped on residential street, 300 block E. Holland St., driver lost.

Dec. 18

8:21 pm: Bicyclist riding in middle of road with no lights, 400 block E. Lutz Rd.

4:45 pm: A minivan driven by Isabel Martinez, 30, Archbold, was traveling southwest in Colony Meadows, and collided with a parked boat owned by Sean Campbell, Colony Meadows. The minivan left the scene. Martinez was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Note: during the preceding week, Archbold police offi cers gave verbal warnings for disobeying a stop bar, failure to dim headlights, improper lane use, speeding, and driving without headlights.
